United Kingdom Chapter

The STC UK Chapter currently (May 2008) includes the whole of the United kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. We also are proud to welcome many members from further afield.
This is quite a large geographical area, with a relatively low membership. We try and hold meetings in different parts of the country so we can serve the needs of as many members as possible. Recent venues have included Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, and London. We also organise Local Interest Group (LIG) meetings, which are generally social rather than educational gatherings. We have 3 LIGs: Northern LIG which has met in Manchester and Sheffield, Irish LIG which has met in Dublin, and Southern LIG, which has met in Reading and London.
