STC TransAlpine Chapter members elect new board for 2008-2009

Congratulations to the Society for Technical Communication TransAlpine Chapter’s new board officers:

  • Carrie Jean “CJ” Walker (President), 43 votes for, 1 abstention
  • Claudia Basso (Vice President), 44 votes for
  • Dian Kjaergaard (Secretary), 42 votes for, 1 abstention, 1 did not vote
  • Janette Lynch (Treasurer), 42 votes for, 1 abstention, 1 did not vote

Turnout was outstanding with 44 or 76 members (58%) casting votes. Thanks to those who voted for taking time out to cast your ballot. The new officers assume their duties immediately.
