Job Description:
A Solution Architect works closely with the Lionbridge sales team and their customers to define, create, and present innovative solutions.
You will have an important sales support function, providing the sales team with a resource to help address process, technical, and other aspects of the customer communication.
You will be a member of the Solution Development Team. This team is collectively responsible for developing solutions that meet client expectations for technical competency, process innovation, cost savings and quality. By analyzing customer requirements, you will identify market trends and opportunities to propose and deliver innovative, value-driving new solutions.
Finally, you will participate with other team members in defining process improvements, template updates, population of content within the knowledge base and status reporting.
Responsibility:
- engage and consult with customers and sales people to gather customer requirements
- define solutions that leverage Lionbridge capabilities to address client needs
- coordinate the efforts of internal subject matter experts to present client solutions
- guide development of proposals and pricing models for complex or innovative solutions
- create financial models to substantiate the proposed solution
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in localization/globalization, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in project management, business development and/or pre-sales consulting
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Excellent customer presentation skills
- Deep understanding of localization operational processes and technologiesDeep understanding of customers’ technical and business needs
- Strong business acumen and ability to see the “big picture”
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships across all functions and lines of business
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent project management and organizational skills

Education:
Bachelors or equivalent.
