Video Journalist (Munich, Germany)
SPOTLIGHT VERLAG
is looking for someone who is creative, responsible and innovative to help develop a multimedia project.Tasks
- Research for video films and accompanying language exercises
- Organization of scriptwriting (coordinating with freelance colleagues)
- Responsibility for video content in English
Coordination of content with service providers and authors (both internally and externally) - Working closely with Spotlight’s chief editors and project leaders
Requirements
- Native English-speaker with modern business English skills and vocabulary — if possible also with a sound working knowledge of German
- Experience working on the editorial team of a publishing house or media enterprise (TV, radio)
- In-depth online and video experience (incl. camera experience)
- Filming and editing experience (digital video technology)
- Flexibility and good networking skills
- Excellent communication skills for telephone, e-mail and face-to-face contact
- The ability to think innovatively and act independently
- Enthusiasm for everything media-related
- Confident and friendly manner
- Creativity and a sense of humour desired but not required
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have completed a course of study in/at:
- Journalism
- Language /Literature degree
- Film production company or public radio/tv
