Industry-specific standards are expanding

An increasing number of industries are being governed by standards specific to those industries. In 2005 the QPI SIG assembled information about many of these standards. The list follows.

Do you use any of these standards? Can you tell us anything about them? What are the requirements for documentation and communication with these standards? Please leave a comment.

Titles hyperlinked to the American Society for Quality (ASQ) catalog were identified by Bill Abbott. These lists were originally posted in May, 2005. Entries after that time are dated with the month and year, for example, June 2005.

Thank you for your interest. I have replied by email. STC does have partnership arrangements with associations, but they are discussed by email until arrangements are made.
