How to post news and articles

If you are a Contributor you can post news or a feature article in draft form. If you are an Author you can post and Publish, although it is recommended that two members review all articles that are Published.

When you post, if you want an immediate review of your post send an email to the SIG manager, ann@annlwiley.com. Otherwise someone will review and Publish your post the next time an Author or the site administrator visits the site.

Use a Title meaningful to you; downstyle capitalization is preferred, for example, “Membership report.”

Enter your text. You can click the HTML icon and paste clean HTML into the window. Inline formatting is not permitted, and only paragraph, heading, strong, citation, and emphasis tags are allowed.

You can paste from an MS Word document into the editing window. You can also paste from a text file, although you will have to manually change the line breaks.

Please DO NOT paste formatted HTML into the editing window. This includes text from formatted email. This can result in improper tags being posted.

Please note that improper tags can break the entire site. If you see your draft post broke the page, don’t worry–the site administrator or an Author will resolve the problem and explain what to avoid in the future. Because your post is a draft it can’t disrupt the site.

Navigation to post is explained in the FAQs.
