Global Talk is back online

The newsletter of the International Technical Communication SIG of STC is back online, after a hiatus since the end of 2005. Earlier issues are archived on our SIG website.

Some content required or recommended for an STC newsletter has been moved from the website to Global Talk. Thus the posts for July are partly for reference, rather than strictly news.

There are many articles for August. In future months we will try to publish throughout the month to make it easier to keep up with the news.

If you haven’t used a site based on blogging software before, you may find the interface confusing and scrolling through all the posts may not be of much interest. If you click a category to the right you’ll see all the informaiton posted in that category.

If you subscribe to the RSS feed, you can see new posts and comments as soon as they arrive. For help with using RSS, refer to the article in Hyperviews Online, newsletter of the Online SIG.

Watch for more news and reference information to be posted, and for many feature articles to be contributed by students of editor Kirk St. Amant. These contributions promise to keep Global Talk fresh and unique.

If you have information to add, a suggestion, or a correction please leave a comment.
