Hi Traci,

Thanks for all of your help as well! I talked to Sarah Grey and she was very enthusaitic about her experience at the show. She also mentioned how well positioned the Pavillion was and how friendly and helpful you were.

Best regards,
Angela

Sounds like a very interesting and worthwhile initiative.

As an American living in Europe and working in a multi-lingual environment, I know first-hand the challenges it imposes on not only technical communication, but communication at its most basic level. Challenging, indeed, but very interesting and rewarding at the same time.

By the way, this SIG now has its own index page in the STC Wiki, can we repost the welcome message there for context?

I like your practical suggestions about gerunds. I seem to have lost your email. Nice to see you in the Howe Library recently.

I am a scholar at the Centre for African Renaissance Studies at the University of South Africa. Currently I am busy with a study on the management of African knowledge and knowledge in Africa for conflict resolution in Africa. I am specifically doing research on Mato Oput as practiced by the Acholi and the Gacaca court system in Rwanda.

I would like to make contact with experts like you on Indigenous Knowledge in Africa and especially how it is applied for conflict resolution.

You will find some of my work-in-progress on the weebsite www.africanwisdom.info A blog is available in the site where you can post your comments or you can communicate with me by email.
