Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

In January, then-manager Ann L. Wiley recruited a web team and we began the process of improving the ID-IA SIG site and moving to this one. Dan Wilcomb also joined the SIG leadership team as membership and list manager.

In February, Bogo Vatovec of the Transalpine chapter was appointed ID-IA SIG manager. Bogo and David Caruso led ID-IA SIG activities at the 53rd STC Annual Conference held in Las Vegas, May 7 to 10. David organized a social event for the conference; the invitation is posted here. The SIG prepared a roadmap to the information design and architecture-related sessions at the conference.

STC President Paula Berger appointed Bogo to lead a team in redesigning the STC website. Bogo has recruited SIG members and others and that team is at work.

More news of the ID-IA SIG in 2006 will be posted here as we move to this new site.
