But here are a few concerns that were recently discussed on the list: * The STC has negotiated insurance discounts in the U.S. What about Canada? * The STC makes a point of the dues being tax-deductable in the U.S. What about Canada? * There are no Canadian chapters east of Montreal. This could also be an issue in other parts of the country. What are your concerns? As for *my* concerns, it's actually more of an interest in hearing stories from Canadian technical communicators, becoming more aware of what's happening TC-wise in this country, and discovering whether in fact there is a "Canadian" flavour to the work we do (beyond spelling and grammar, that is).
